After a week away from the track following Shanghai, the focus has been on learning, refining and improving behind the scenes as the team continues to get to grips with the new generation of cars. Now the challenge moves to one of Formula One’s most demanding circuits — a place where precision, commitment and clean execution matter more than ever.
Mattia Binotto says the priority is now all about delivering a clean weekend. The opening two rounds have shown promising signs in terms of pace, but also highlighted areas where more can be found in both performance and execution. The team has worked hard to address the reliability issues seen earlier in the season and arrives in Japan determined to put both cars in the best position to complete a strong weekend.
For Nico Hülkenberg, Suzuka remains one of the great challenges on the calendar — demanding, rewarding and always special when everything comes together. After a mixed start to the season, the aim is simple: put everything together, deliver a clean weekend and extract the maximum from the package. He also knows the atmosphere in Japan will once again be one of the highlights of the year.
Gabriel Bortoleto is equally eager to get back on track at one of his favourite circuits. After the disappointment of missing out in Shanghai, the Brazilian is focused on turning the page and building on the positive foundations shown in Australia and China. With more work completed back at the factory, the goal now is to unlock more performance and make Suzuka count.
