Audi Revolut F1 Team showed encouraging competitiveness in Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, with both cars demonstrating solid pace at a circuit not expected to suit the R26.

Gabriel Bortoleto delivered an outstanding performance to reach Q3 and secure P8 on the grid. A clean, confident session saw him maximise every opportunity — and even extract a little more — underlining the progress being made by the team. It’s a result that puts him in a strong position heading into race day.

On the other side of the garage, Nico Hülkenberg’s qualifying didn’t reflect his true potential. After showing promising speed throughout the weekend, his session was compromised by traffic early on, followed by gearbox issues and a hydraulic problem that ultimately brought his car to a halt after Q2. A frustrating outcome, but one that doesn’t tell the full story of the pace he had.

Despite the contrasting results, there are clear positives to take. Both sides of the garage have shown that the car can be competitive at Spa — a track that wasn’t expected to play to its strengths — highlighting the continued progress across recent races.

With Gabriel starting inside the top ten and Nico ready to fight from P13, all focus now turns to making the most of every opportunity on Sunday.

Backed by over 300 team members from Hinwil, Neuburg and Bicester in the grandstands, the motivation is clear — to reward that support with a strong result on race day.
