Audi Revolut F1 Team returns to action at Zandvoort as the summer break comes to an end and the second half of the 2026 season gets underway.

After securing three consecutive points finishes before the break, the team arrives in the Netherlands with confidence and a clear goal: build on the progress made and continue pushing the R26 forward.

Allan McNish, Racing Director:

“The break gave everyone a chance to recharge ahead of what will be a crucial second half of the season. We know there is still plenty of work ahead, but we are encouraged by the direction we took before the break. The battle for the points remains close, but we are confident we can be in the mix in Zandvoort and beyond. Sprint weekends bring an extra challenge, with less time to get everything up to speed, but we’re looking forward to getting back on track.”

Nico Hülkenberg – Car 27:

“Scoring points in Budapest was a great way to head into the summer break. Zandvoort has always been a special race for me. I grew up just across the border and started my motorsport career in the Netherlands, so I’ve always had a real connection with the country and its people.

“It’s a classic old-school circuit and the Dutch fans create an incredible atmosphere. Knowing this will be the final Dutch Grand Prix for the foreseeable future makes it even more special. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off in Budapest and put together another strong weekend.”

Gabriel Bortoleto – Car 5:

“We’ve been learning more about the car with every race and unlocking more of its potential. It’s important we carry that into the second half of the season. Zandvoort is always a good challenge, and Sprint weekends make things intense from the start. The first half finished on an encouraging note, and now the goal is to pick up where we left off.”

F1 Academy also returns, with Audi Development Programme driver Emma Felbermayr back in action as she continues her championship campaign. 🇦🇹
